[TIPS] How To Convert MySQL to MSSQL

Image
One more tips for you. It's about how to convert your MySQL to MSSQL. As a natural thing, change is inevitable. In technology, it is also present. Because of fast paced environment around us, technology is the thing which never stops from changing itself. A normal thing for any company is to upgrade its system or database systems at regular intervals. Usually they do it to match the requirement of the technology or methods that are being used around them. To adopt the changes in the field of database systems, upgraded databases, or a new version of software or new software is the key to change or upgrade. Normally if we are changing the software, then we have to change our old data according to that new software. And the process of doing so is called Database Migration. [News] New BlackBerry incoming - Blackberry 6 and Bold 9800

Image
It's been 2 months since our last post about BlackBerry . Now it's time to see BB's news. It's about BlackBerry 6 and BlackBerry Bold 9800. We know that AT&T and BlackBerry-maker RIM have invited reporters to an event next Tuesday. The most likely purpose of this is to unveil the BlackBerry Bold 9800, the first RIM model with a sliding keyboard. This upcoming smartphone is also expected to be the first with BlackBerry OS 6.0. The oft-rumored Blackbery Bold 9800, also known as the Torch 9800, is believed to be the first device that will run Blackberry 6. The 9800 is expected to have the same look and feel of most Blackberry handsets, except that the face will slide up to reveal a physical keyboard similar to the Palm Pre. The 9800 would also have a touchscreen, but the handset may not come with SurePress technology, according to Chinese-language blog BlackBerry Time. SurePress is the oft-maligned tactile feedback touchscreen that debuted in the Blackberry Storm. Ot

[Utility] Opera Mini 5.1 for Android

Image
Another news for Android user, if you use an Android smartphone a new browser from Opera is available for download on the Android market. The browser is Opera Mini 5.1. The new browser version has some new features that should make it appealing to many users. Opera says that the new version is much faster for loading web pages thanks to the fact that it compresses data up to 90% before sending the content to the phone. That means faster page loads and less money spent on data. Since Opera Mini uses Opera's compression technology to shrink pages before they are sent to the phone, using Opera Mini will result in faster page loads -- especially when using slower 2G or crowded WiFi connections. And the smaller data bills aren't a bad thing either! Opera 5.1 has left the beta tag behind, and its final release is a considerable Android alternative. Along with the off-phone page caching that makes slower connections bearable, Opera's added semi-solid pinch-to-zoom and kinetic

[Quote] Today's quote - 14 July 2010

Half month since our last quotes . Her are some for today: A man's respect for law and order exists in precise relationship to the size of his paycheck.   -  Adam Clayton Powell Jr. It is hard to believe that a man is telling the truth when you know that you would lie if you were in his place.   -  H. L. Mencken Beware of the man who works hard to learn something, learns it, and finds himself no wiser than before... He is full of murderous resentment of people who are ignorant without having come by their ignorance the hard way.   -  Kurt Vonnegut

[Security] Create Stronger Passwords to Minimize IT Risk

Image
Passwords form our first line of online security, from logging on to corporate PCs to checking status on Facebook using mobile devices. And yet, many of us put convenience ahead of protecting company assets (and ourselves) by using poorly constructed passwords -- or no passwords at all. I admit I've also been guilty of this in the past. When I used to test software builds, I "collected" several workstations in my office to use as test machines. Over time, managing login passwords for so many different machines (each with several different iterations of Windows, Mac OS, and other operating systems installed) became quite a chore. I'd been an adherent of the "don't write them down" school of password-security thought, so that wasn't an option to me then. I thought I'd make life less complicated by creating passwords for all the test machines that were very similar variations on something familiar to me. Although these machines were never used for

[Tips] Gmail with Rich Text signature

Image
Another innovation comes from Google . Now you can have a better signature on GMail with its new improved rich text signature. Mail signature is a block of text automatically appended at the bottom of an e-mail message, Usenet article, or forum post. This has the effect of "signing off" the message and in a reply message of indicating that no more response follows. It is common practice for a signature block to consist of one or more lines containing some brief information on the author of the message. Note that a sig block is not the same as a digital signature. A sig block is easily forged, whereas a digital signature uses cryptographic techniques to provide verifiable proof of authorship. If you hop into the Settings page of your Gmail account you'll see a new signature section with some familiar rich-text editing buttons and options. You can tweak your text size and color, insert images and links, and otherwise format your text as you can within a rich-text Gmail mes

[Tips] Free web site hosting to reduce cost

Image
We have given you tips to build a web site , now it's time to publish it. These task need something called as web hosting. A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to make their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own or lease for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center. Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for servers they do not own to be located in their data center, called colocation. The scope of hosting services varies widely. The most basic is web page and small-scale file hosting, where files can be uploaded via File Transfer Protocol (FTP) or a Web interface. The files are usually delivered to the Web "as is" or with little processing. Many Internet service providers (ISPs) offer this service free to their subscribers. People can also obtai
